About Us:
Founded through the Southeast Exotic Pest and Plant Council in 2002, the North Carolina Invasive Plant Council is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit with the goal of protecting and conserving the native ecosystem of North Carolina by focusing on the threats posed by exotic and invasive plants. The NC-IPC is lead by a team of highly devoted volunteers, comprised of scientist, private and public land managers, volunteer stewards, and concerned citizens.
