The NC-IPC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group established in 2002.
Our membership includes land conservationists and land managers (public and private), ecological consultants, researchers, planners, plant nursery industries, botanical gardens, environmental stewards, and concerned citizens.
We serve as a focal point for issues and concerns regarding invasive plants in North Carolina by:
NC-IPC coordinates invasive plant symposiums. These events are held annually and rotated through regions of North Carolina. The best way to connect with NC-IPC and all things invasive-plant-related is to attend one of our symposiums.
The Board of Directors meet monthly. Members who want to engage more with the organization are encouraged to participate in these meeting.

- Acting as an advisory group to government agencies
- Coordinating public awareness and action campaigns
