About Us:
Founded through the Southeast Exotic Pest and Plant Council in 2002,
the North Carolina Invasive Plant Council is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit with the goal of protecting and conserving the native ecosystem of North Carolina by focusing on the threats posed by exotic and invasive plants.   
The NC-IPC is lead by a team of highly devoted volunteers, comprised of  
scientist, private and public land managers, volunteer stewards, and concerned citizens. If you would like to know more details regarding our board of directors please click here.
