Annual Symposium

Attention:  Due to COVID-19 we had to cancel plans for our 2020 annual symposium.  Our next event will be spring of 2021.

Each year the NC-IPC coordinates a symposium to meet three key objectives: education, networking and enjoyment.  Our symposia focus on the ecology of the Carolinas and the impact of invasive plants.  They typically feature lectures, workshops and/or field trips, and networking events such as socials.

Attendance qualifies participants to earn various continuing education credits (professional credits).  For example: pesticide applicator, registered forester, landscape architect, etc.

We also hold a silent auction, which is the primary fundraising event for the Iverson Scholarship.
